Subject: Freedom: Day Laughs, Night Cries Virtual Book Tour

Monday, November 19, 2012

I'm pleased to welcome Peaches D. Ledwidge on her book tour. She's been a supportive buddy and I'm wishing her all that's good for the tour and the sale of her book.

Day Laughs, Night Cries: Fifteen is a true mother-daughter story.  It’s about a shattering event that happens between a mother and her daughter (Peaches) in a dark room.  The event threatens to destroy the mother-daughter relationship.

As the relationship between the mother and Peaches deteriorates, Peaches has many longings or desires. She desires freedom and a new family, among others.

In many parts of the world, the US, Jamaica, Africa, India, Thailand, and Afghanistan, for example, some children or adults desire freedom too. The desire for freedom is not always to escape from one’s family; sometimes people carry a deep desire to escape from religious, political, or cultural constraints.

Day Laughs, Night Cries: Fifteen reminds us about some of the things that bond us as a family even when we desire escape from things that cause us grief.

I am the daughter, Peaches.  To learn more about Day Laughs, Night Cries: Fifteen, watch the trailer.  You can also join the virtual book tour and leave a comment. Your name will be entered into a raffle and if picked, you will be eligible for one of the giveaways listed on my Blog or the flyer. Please ensure that you can be reached.
